Or maybe that's standard procedure if you're waiting for something.

Mission Accomplished.

I did it.

I sat in the grass. On a blanket. Eating an apple.
Reading a book. :)

It started out as Mansfield Park, which I started when I was still at school, but I got to sort of a lull in the story so I switched to Emma, which I like much better. However, it was a blistering 99 degrees, so it was hot even in the sun. Needless to say, I wasn't out there more than an hour, but I still enjoyed my apple-eating, book-reading nature session. Makes me feel like I did something useful with my day, even though it wasn't exactly productive.

In other news, I started watching season 1 of Arrested Development and it's not too bad. Not outrageously funny, but it has small bits of subtle humor here and there. Anyway, I'm on episode 11 now, I think.

That's about all that's going down in my world...

Fancy Free

This

...is what Summers are for.

I need to actually get out in my backyard and DO IT. Sit down with a book and just read the afternoon away. Soak up the sun and nature and just relax. I've gotta get away from the TV and the computer and the cell phone and just spend an afternoon in complete relaxation and lost in words.

Tomorrow is going to be that day :)

Guess it's time for a legit post.

Welllllllllllllllllllllll,

Hello Summer. I missed you a lot. And hello, Florida! I missed you even more than I missed Summer!

Also,

It's true :)
But then, that's me on most days.

Babysitting is starting to get on a roll, I have an offer for Friday night which I happily accepted because: babysitting = money = college = happiness.

Yay!

P.S. Happy June 1st :)
